Uh-oh, you know what I feel coming on?

This is my normal opening to my need to give Gia some astronomical amount of kisses. But, it was with great delight that tonight as Gia and I were laying on the floor prior to putting her in bed that I asked Gia, "Uh-oh, do you know what I feel coming on?" and with a sudden squeal she exclaimed, "KISSES". Melting heart.

Popa's birthday and we love Mimi.

The first week of June Mimi and Popa came to visit. As always, when they are here Gia is in heaven. She rules the two of them. They spend all day satisfying her every desire. Be it the pool, the park, finger painting, happy cakes...they are there to focus every ounce of attention on Miss G. Needless to say she loves it. {The very tired ballerina prior to candles on the Happy Cake}

{In awe}
The night of Popa's birthday there was this WILD lightening storm. So unexpected in Northern California. But for the Texas transplant it was welcomed with wide arms. Gia LOVED it. No element of fear. I have to say the little girl embraces everything with a smile and enthusiasm!

San Francisco tail gate.

When the Cardinals came to the Bay Area you must be sure that the Anheuser Busch boys will be there to cheer on the St. Louis team. There is a mixture as some of the AB families are former/current Bay Area residents and we all played together nicely. It was such a treat to mingle with all of Ralph's co workers and watch the game with forty plus people. {These hydrangas were outside the Cal Mart, I could not believe the size of the blooms}
{Where to go in the Bay Area?}

{Popa came in on Saturday night to catch the game with RT while Gia and I did some shopping}

{The amazing AT&T Park}

As always, any time in the Bay Area is enjoyed by all. On Saturday night Gia and I enjoyed sushi in Union Square and after the game we went to our favorite dive in North Beach! We love our slower paced life, but we do long for our time in SF.

Gia's first visit to Chuck E Cheese.

Towards the end of May, Gia and I met Jill and Tyler for our first visit to Chuck E Cheese. Needless to say the food leaves much to be desired, but Gia and Tyler had a blast. I do know that when we return, I will only purchase a few tokens...Gia was just as entertained by the lights and did not care if the games were working. {Tyler in the tubes. He was a master!}

Gia was so cute when Chucke E Cheese came out she started screaming, "Mickey Mouse, Mickey Mouse". Ecstatic. Tyler liked Mickey Mouse a lot LESS than Gia. We all had a blast and will have to do it again very soon!

Busy, busy, busy. Doing nothing.

My camera is full of pictures that I need to upload. There are tons of fun summer things that we have been participating in. Mimi and Popa came to visit. But for the most part, we have been busy doing nothing.

Lots of pool time. Lots of fresh fruit. LOADS of running (SF is super close). Hugs, kisses, cuggles. Fun times with my parents.

Gia is full of new phrases, faces and poses.

One of these days I will stop being busy doing nothing and give a real update.

I promise, but for now I am going to hang out with Miss G and RT.
