Memorial C/O 1986 picnic.

Last Saturday we had an impromtu picnic with some of Ralph's dearest friends from High School. While we all get together with relative frequency, we never get all the little ones together unless it is 4th of July, Lake Trips, etc.

So we headed out to Tice park. Ronnie grilled burgers. We had juice boxes and water. Fun was had by all. Sweaty red faces from all the kids. It was fun and we need to do it more often! {The beautiful, grown up Ani}
{Baby James and Pat}

{Rob and Cari}

{Kiddos hanging out in the shade}

{Tera and Gia preparing for a nap...go figure}

Tricia and I were talking that next time (maybe mid to late summer) we can get together around dusk and do a movie night at the park. All we need to decide on is the movie. Pull out the pillows and blankets. Popcorn and M and M's and we will have a park movie theatre....what date works so we can get everyone together.
Thanks again for coming on such short notice! We had such a blast.

The weekend of fun.

This weekend a bunch of us met in San Francisco to go on the hunt for the PERFECT wedding dress for our dear friend Lucy. Yes, we did do more than eat and go out dancing, but I have to get those pictures from Lucy as I forgot my camera during our day excursions....go figure.
It is highly likely that Lucy has found the gown that she will become the Mrs. Jim in on the sands of Cabo. It goes without saying that she is going to be a beautiful bride and we could not be happier for the two of them.
{The start of the weekend. Dinner at Asia de Cuba}

Two nights at the Clift. Numerous fantastic meals. Great girl time and shopping galore....LOADS of FUN. But I could not have been happier to get home to the hubs and my little lovey.
They had a great weekend too....went biking along the river, the park and tons of daddy daughter time. Pretty sure that they were just as ready as me to be home.
Girls, let's do it again...and soon!

Mas, mas please.

Friday night, we thought was going to be date night, but we changed our plans. We found out that one of our local Mexican restaurants has LIVE mariachis on Friday nights. We happen to be the proud parent of one mariachi loving girl. So Ralph and I tabled date night for an evening of fun with Miss Gia and Tyler and Jill...which was seriously icing on the cake. We love them. The Talamantez Gang
RT and AT
Mas Kid's Menus...with FREE Dinasour toys!

The Perfect Miss G
My two favorite people.
We had such a lovely time with Tyler and Jill...I think the funniest part was Tyler saying, "Man Gia, you can't just throw my food around" Hilarious. Seriously....two and three year olds say the FUNNIEST things. Hope you had a great weekend too!

Heavenly is....heavenly.

We went to Heavenly last weekend and had a blast. On Saturday we had the most amazing weather and Sunday....it rained and we decided to catch Taken (really great, by the way) instead of braving the misery of skiing in the snow.....I can not tell you how blessed we feel to be so close to skiing....I think that Ralph and I both forgot how much we LOVE to ski! This gal was HILARIOUS....she was dancing like a maniac....so much fun!
Obviously, we are exhausted...

Hubs putting on his boots.

Seriously, I don't think it could have been a more beautiful day.

Heavenly, may not be the the BEST skiing, but the view makes it the best spot in the country.

After the slopes. What a great time.

Storytime.

Today is Storytime at the Library. We go. We play. We check out books and old school videos...that Gia never watches. It is so much fun. I remember going to the Bear Creek Library with my mom as a wee little one and how much I loved it! Well, we're off! Have a great day!

Crazy hair. Bless her heart.

Gia has come by the crazy gene very honestly. As I was editing pictures from this glorious holiday season, it was quite obvious. Here are a few examples...

Not to mention that we spent our holiday season with Wendy, Amy, Jenna and Kate...whom all have PERFECT hair...NO MATTER WHAT. Oh well, Miss G. Mimi and I were right there with you....and it was not nearly as cute. Love you!
