Welcoming Baby T.

A few weeks ago I was the fortunate recipient of several lovely ladies coming together to provide an amazing lunch to welcome the newest addition to the T family. It was truly spectacular.

My mother is seriously the most amazing human being. Since this lunch, she has taken my child for a week while Ralph and I hob knobbed in NYC, completely helped me reorganize my home for our new addition, thrown a birthday party with me for Miss G and created the most amazing sweaters. I will never live up to all that she does, but I have the best inspiration and am always the lucky recipient.

Someone should have told preggers to put on some lipstick. I need all the help I can get these days.

My awesome friend Corina did all of the logistical execution. And she created a time capsule for Baby T. It is a box full of things from right now that will tell Baby T all about what the world was like when he/she was in utero. Super fun.

Pumpkin Fondue. For the life of me, this is sin that you place on bread. And I could eat it all day long. For that matter, in a box, with a fox, with no socks. Just give me the pumpkin fondue. This is what happens when your dearest friend happens to be a celebrity chef. Oh the sacrifices that I have to make to taste her latest concoctions. Pity me...and Baby T.

Thank you everyone that was involved. What a great day. We are certainly more prepared for Baby T's arrival. Just a few finishing touches. I am sure between the holiday rush it will be here before we know it. But it is only 51 days if anyone is interested.
